Overview
Jacqueline Heer is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist whose work engages with evolution, transformation, and the tension between organic and artificial life. Working at the intersection of visual art and technology, Heer uses digital networks and generative processes to explore themes of identity, morphology, and embodiment. Her compositions often emerge from linear AI-generated prompts, resulting in surreal, uncanny figures that challenge perceptions of form and narrative.

In MorphoGenesis, Heer presents a digital series composed of 60 progressive iterations—each an evolutionary step forward. The images, unaltered and generated through AI, are presented as a meditation on mutation, emergence, and corporeal distortion. The final image in the series—referred to as the “evolutionary conclusion”—embodies the project’s monumental tension between grotesque and sublime.
