Overview
Jeremy Martin is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores trauma, queer identity, and ancestral healing through watercolor painting and sculpture. His current series, JUSTAPOSE, transforms poses, garments, and gestures into surreal objects that defy categorization—bridging emotional processing with aesthetic play. Often finished in matte varnish or cast in resin, these hybrid forms evoke both softness and strength, vulnerability and resilience. Martin’s practice is rooted in queer visibility, experimental materiality, and community collaboration, particularly within the Bushwick creative scene.
