Jolie Orbeta is a New York–area painter and installation artist whose work reimagines girlhood through oil, pastel, silkscreen, and sculptural collage. Her thesis exhibition “Playthings” at the Samuel Dorsky Museum transformed portraits of toys, musicians, and women into immersive installations that celebrate juvenile excess and wonder.
