Overview
Laurent Lanneau is a French-born, New York–based abstract painter and professional chef whose work explores the balance between spontaneity and control. Influenced by Art Brut and the immediacy of street art, Lanneau creates textured, emotionally charged compositions that act as visual dialogues between instinct and intention. His process is raw and intuitive, guided by a desire to reconnect with the inner child and challenge rigid structures through playful exploration.

Each piece becomes an act of self-reflection, where layered media evoke questions of identity, memory, and meaning.
