Overview
Vinnie Patella is an urban photographer based in Youngstown, Ohio, whose work captures fleeting moments of beauty and reflection within the built environment. Raised in a post-industrial town shaped by decline and resilience, Patella brings a quiet intimacy to street photography—revealing how light, structure, and emotion intersect in overlooked corners of the city. His practice is driven by intuition, curiosity, and a desire to find stillness amid motion.

Patella’s photographs are contemplative rather than confrontational, offering windows into the subtle, interconnected rhythms of city life. His work has been featured in the 26th Annual WAH Center Salon Show and continues to gain attention for its ability to elevate the everyday into something sacred.
